For over 35 years, within the laboratory, Abra Iride's technical team has been dedicated to research, developing, and industrializing new types of abrasives.
Over time, the spaces have evolved, acquiring new tools and skills, becoming the pulsating heart of the development of new products and technological solutions.

- R&D polishing machine with variable parameters: rotation speed, pressure, beam and belt speed, water flow, Fickert of Frankfurt head
- Centesimal depth gauge for the measurement of removal values
- Roughness meter, Gloss checker, Viscometer, Hardness tester
- Instrument for bending, tensile and compression tests
- RPM (Revolutions Per Minute) meter
- Series of sieves for particle size analysis
- Microscope with data scanning software
- Machine for diamond friability tests
- Metal detector and X-Ray scanner
- Slipperiness meter (pendulum)
- Water flow meter
